This was for Illustration 2, the first assignment was of a portrait of an inventor. I chose Alan Turing, during the research I read about some interesting eccentricities, this is a watercolour portrait of Turing locking his coffee cup to the radiator.
It reminded my colleagues of Mad magazine satirical illustrations, which was not my intention but I appreciated the compliment. It also looks as though something or someone is pulling him off of the page.
