This came to me while I was walking to the Toronto Public Reference Library, I was going to find an image of Socrates and copy it for a concept I was working on with the Sketchbook Group. After seeing how beautiful the cross-hatching on the bust was, I decided to appropriate the original image and altering it's entire strength of pose. I loved creating this idea. Watercolor pencil crayon and black bic on collage from xerox photocopy. I came up with two other ideas but they are only sketchbook ideas I want to post some portaits i'm working on in the month of June. Plus somemore sketches.
